A Musing About Time
Time. It always seems to be that there is always too much or too little for something or other that we want to do, see, feel, or hear. Time is something that we all must deal with in our lives for the good of it or otherwise. Time can be all consuming for some and yet others constantly show us that for them time hardly exists. For those that are consumed by it, the clock is the centre of their universe, every aspect of their existence revolves around the number of hours, minutes,or seconds that are showing on the face of their clock.
'Man' time can be so very different from 'God' time. I do not think that time for God would bear any relation to time as we might know it, or even think of it. Man lives with these three primary divisions of time, the past (that which has happened), the present (that which is happening), and the future (that which will happen).
But what about God, I think that his reality is that such divisions are not applicable. He already knows everything that has, is, and will happen, to everyone and everything everywhere. I think that the best way to express this is that for God his reality is 'now'. If He wants to, He can experience all of it, our past, present, and future but all at once. For God there is no past or present or future, as separate entities, it's all rolled up into one. God is NOW, always present, always here.
